Low-E insulation...Your attic is a great way to start saving money. It's a fact that heat rises and when looking at adding insulation most people think of adding more to what they already have. Low-E radiant barrier insulation can be installed in existing attics over the rafters or can be installed using furring strips attached to the roof. Installation of low-e insulation in your rafters can drop your attic temperature at least 20 to 30 degrees and pick up an R-Value increase of R-11.
